Brad’s Fuel Filtering (a DBA of Ryu Industrial LLC, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides diesel and heating oil tank cleaning, polishing, and fuel filtering services in Maryland and the mid-Atlantic. This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information directly from customers and prospective customers when you contact us by phone, email, or in person, or when our technicians provide service at your location:
- Name and business name (if applicable)
- Service address and billing address
- Phone number (mobile and/or landline)
- Email address
- Details about your fuel tank(s) and service history
- Payment information (handled by our payment processor — we do not store card numbers)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Schedule, deliver, and document the services you have requested
- Send service-related text messages, including:
- Appointment confirmations
- “On the way” notifications when our technician is en route
- Service completion summaries
- Follow-up messages about completed service
- Send invoices and process payments
- Respond to questions and customer support requests
- Maintain records required for tax, insurance, and regulatory compliance
We do NOT send marketing or promotional messages without your separate consent.
SMS / Text Messaging
When you provide your phone number to schedule service or during a service interaction, you consent to receive service-related text messages from Brad’s Fuel Filtering. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service schedule.
To opt out of text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. We will honor opt-out requests immediately and will not send further SMS to your number.

We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are stored in our service-management system and used only for the purposes described above.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share limited information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate our business (payment processing, scheduling software, telephone provider) — these providers are bound by confidentiality and use the information only to provide services to us
- Government authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order
- Insurance carriers when responding to claims involving our work
Data Retention
We retain customer records for as long as you are an active customer plus seven (7) years after your last service, to comply with tax, insurance, and regulatory requirements. You may request earlier deletion subject to those requirements.
Your Choices
You may:
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us
- Request a copy of the information we have on file by emailing james@bradsfuelfiltering.com
- Request correction of any inaccurate information
- Request deletion subject to legal/regulatory retention requirements
Children’s Privacy
Our services are for property owners and businesses; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, and disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to use industry-standard protections.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our services after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
